The Vanish at Nayuta(Hisayama,Fukuoka)

Now, I’d like to introduce a new sauna facility from Fukuoka! It’s called “The Vanish” and is located in Hisayama, Fukuoka Prefecture. This incredibly new sauna facility just opened on July 14, 2024! It was absolutely amazing, so I definitely want to share it with you!

The Vanish” is located within a facility called “Nayuta.” And “Nayuta” is simply amazing! Its concept is a healing theme park. It features a market with natural foods, a carefully curated lifestyle goods store, an onigiri specialty shop, and a vegan restaurant, among many other attractions. Let me introduce you to some of its highlights.

⬛️marche acoustic

This is a grocery store that offers health-friendly foods! The super stylish interior is very attractive! They also feature bulk sales of nuts and spices!! You can really feel the attention to detail in each product, making you want to explore every corner of the store!!

⬛️hitoyasumi

This is a brown rice onigiri restaurant!! As you can see in the picture, their popular set includes your choice of onigiri and a variety of vegetable side dishes!! The gently seasoned vegetable dishes and colorful onigiri are a must-try!! They open at 7 AM, making it perfect for breakfast after a morning sauna session.

⬛️Vegan Restaurant Sui

This is a vegan restaurant located on the second floor. The photo shows their one-plate lunch! The colorful vegetables look beautiful and delicious!! The view from the seating area is also fantastic, so be sure to visit for lunch or dinner!

Nayuta” has many other wonderful shops and places besides these!! You could easily spend the whole day here! Please come and experience it for yourself.

Now, let’s introduce the main attraction: the sauna!! When you go up to the second floor, you’ll find a space to take off your shoes. Please remove your shoes here. You can either place your shoes on the shelf or put them in the lockers with keys located in the back. From here, you’ll be barefoot, so you can relax as if you were at home.

Here is the entrance to “The Vanish“! Please check in at the counter in the back.

Once you pass the counter, you’ll see the entrance. The cute noren curtains are in place! Blue for men and red for women. The absence of signs and the use of noren curtains alone show a great attention to the interior design.

Here is the changing room! As expected for a newly opened facility, it’s incredibly clean (haha). The wood-based design is beautiful! By the way, there isn’t a water cooler, so especially for those using the sauna, make sure to bring your own drinks!

Here is the bath area! The first impression is that it’s spacious!!! There aren’t many showers, but the ample open space makes it feel very roomy. It’s a luxurious use of space.

And don’t miss the tile art on the walls! It’s a modern tile mural inspired by traditional Japanese painting.

As for the bathtubs, there are two main types. The feature here is that the lukewarm bath is the larger of the two. It seems to be designed with the concept of allowing you to soak for a long time. It’s quite interesting! There’s also a hot bath available for those who prefer it hotter.

Here is the tile art in the women’s bath area. It’s incredibly cute! It manages to be modern while still retaining a Japanese atmosphere—really impressive!

Here is the outdoor bath area! It’s spacious as well. The lukewarm bath is also the larger one here. And in the back, you can see the sauna hut! What a fantastic location. The anticipation is building!!!

Here is the sauna room!!! Amazingly, there are three wood-burning stoves!!! It’s quite rare to see wood stoves in a large facility like this, isn’t it? The sauna room is spacious with plenty of seating, creating an incredibly luxurious space! And of course, the sound and aroma of the wood stoves are exceptional. Enjoying the sauna while watching the flames is a unique experience.

The sauna temperature is around 60°C, which is not very high. This is intended to make the sauna enjoyable even for those who are not accustomed to high temperatures. A lower temperature means you can enjoy the sauna for a longer period. Take your time and relax in the sauna more than usual.

Once you’ve warmed up thoroughly, head to the outdoor cold plunge pool! As shown in the photos above, “The Vanish” is nestled in the forest, so there are no distracting buildings in sight. Enjoying a cold plunge and outdoor relaxation in such a pristine setting is truly a luxury.

After fully enjoying the sauna, be sure to take advantage of the warm bath as well! As mentioned earlier, the warm bath is quite large, so take a dip in it as a perfect way to wrap up your sauna experience. The sensation is different from the sauna and offers a unique kind of relaxation!

They also have a variety of merchandise available. After enjoying the sauna, you’re likely to end up buying something! 😄 I couldn’t resist and ended up getting a towel myself!

After enjoying “The Vanish,” why not stop by the observation cafe? You can purchase drinks at the cafe and enjoy them here. The views of the forest and lake are absolutely stunning!

Both “Nayuta” and “The Vanish” are designed to entertain and soothe their guests. The entire place exudes a sense of kindness and tranquility. I highly recommend experiencing this soothing space for yourself!
