Shibuya Saunas -LAMPI-(Shibuya,Tokyo)

Sure thing! You introduced the cool sauna facility in Shibuya, Tokyo, called “Shibuya Saunas -WOODS-.” In a previous post, you highlighted “WOODS,” and now, let’s delve into the other sauna area, “LAMPI”!

Got it! “Shibuya Saunas” is located a 5-minute walk from Shibuya Station. For more details, check out the previous post titled “Shibuya Saunas-WOODS-.” Nighttime at Shibuya Saunas sounds like a great experience too!

The counter is a treasure trove! The fact that the available goods change regularly adds an extra layer of excitement each time you visit. Plus, it’s a bonus that all the items are adorable!

Enjoy your visit to the LAMPI area! It’s interesting how Shibuya Saunas swaps the male and female bath areas between odd and even days. WOODS for odd days and LÄMPI for even days, keeping things in balance!

Looking forward to it! Let’s dive into the details of the LAMPI area saunas.

■MUSTA SAUNA

MUSTA, meaning “dark,” lives up to its name as a seriously dark sauna room. The jet-black sauna chamber sounds stunning. Finnish smoke saunas often have a dim glow, and it seems like they’ve recreated that ambiance here. With the option for self-pouring, you’re in for the best steamy experience!

■BED SAUNA

A sauna room where you can actually lie down on a bed—every sauna enthusiast’s dream! Normally, lying down is a no-go in saunas, but here, it’s a dedicated space for that. It’s first-come, first-served due to limited beds, so if the timing is right, definitely give it a try. Just a heads up, it’s so comfortable you might unintentionally drift into dreamland!

■KELO SAUNA

A sauna exclusively for whisking, with a lower temperature. You can self-pour, but don’t expect the temperature to skyrocket. When not in “whisking mode,” it functions as a regular sauna, so enjoy it as a high-humidity, lower-temperature sauna experience. Cheers to a unique and varied sauna adventure!

■SAUND SAUNA

The renowned “SAUND SAUNA” in the LAMPI area—sounds like a must-visit spot! It seems like the experience it offers is one-of-a-kind and probably impossible to find elsewhere. What makes it stand out?

“SAUND SAUNA” sounds like a sauna symphony! With the musical talents of Tokusha Shingo echoing in a concert hall-like sauna room, it’s a unique experience. Tokusha Shingo is quite the sauna celebrity, known for creating music albums dedicated to saunas. The combination of specialized sauna music and the resonating sauna room creates an unparalleled atmosphere. Feeling the vibrations of music from the seat makes it an incredibly pleasant experience, almost like being inside the speaker. A must-visit sauna room if you’re in the LAMPI area! symphony! You’ve introduced the four sauna rooms splendidly! They each have unique and charming qualities. Now, let’s move on to exploring the other facilities.

■MATALA

Here, we have the shallow cold bath also featured in “Shibuya Saunas -WOODS-.” It shares almost the same design as the WOODS area. Being able to lie down while enjoying the cold bath adds an extra level of relaxation. Surprisingly, such reclining cold baths are not very common. I tried it for the first time here and absolutely love it!

⬛︎SYVA

This is the deeper cold bath I introduced last time! This standing cold bath experience is quite enjoyable too, don’t you think?

Well, how about it? Since I explained “Shibuya Saunas” itself in the previous blog, this time I aimed for a quick overview to highlight the differences between WOODS and LAMPI. If you have some extra time, definitely give both WOODS and LAMPI a try!
